Mafia Dolce&Gabbana

Ny magazine informed us that “design partners Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been indicted on tax-evasion charges.”

OMG, they are truly Sicilian mafias. Imagine if they go to prison, there would be lots of dramatic moments in their life and designs.

Joachim Löw, the stylish coach of German National Football team

Tomorrow Germany encounters Spain at the World Cup and I'm a little bit nervous. I hope that Germany would win the competition. The great thing about the German team is that they are well organized and this kind of well organization comes from their coach which is a very wise man.
Not only he know what he's doing with his team he also has a good sense of style, in order to do my contribution as a style hunter, I gathered some of the pictures that in most of them he wears scarf in an stylish way that is a little bit unusual for a football coach.

This other pictures shows how comfortable and chic he is. I'm sure his impeccable style is the deviance of his great rule as a coach.

PS: no matter what happens tomorrow, Germany would still be my favorite football team.

Raf Simons Spring

Raf Simons showed his menswear show for Jil Sander in Florence and it was the show that started menswear fashion week. Raf’s color blocking solution was so abstract that many couldn’t digest it completely. But his own namesake show raised the bar a little higher for him. As Cathy horn informed us in his blog at NYTimes, the inspiration behind Raf’s spring collection was the first fashion show that the designer has ever saw. It was Maison Martin Margiella’s collection back in 1991. It was then that he decided to become a fashion designer.

This great looks reminded me of Hedi Slimane’s works back in 2003 for Dior Homme. Hedi’s approach was way more different than Raf. Actually was is missing in Raf’s work in the fantasy that Alber Elbaz usually talks about, later this year he told NYMAG , “If we go too clean, we’ll loose the fantasy”. I love Mr Simsons work, his originality and faith to modernism of his days makes him a perfect designer, but as a fan I’m always looking in his collections to find a wearable day to day item but most of those things are not available in his namesake collection.

I like Mr Simons because he has his own way of marring fashion with art, as you can see in this looks he wants for his clothe to carry a message beyond their style.

Ps: “How we would” part in the first picture is cropped from this show’s invitation.

Neon Chic

The yellow neon jacket is from Giorgio Armani, most of the critics picked this collection as the highlight of Milan fashion week.
This is a look that I really love to wear.
The other pictures are from Tommy Ton which is a great street photographer who works for GQ and, unlike Sartorialist he is a trend spotter, and that's why we can follow his eyes.

The other picture is an installation by Dan Flavin. I saw some of his works in Tehran Contemporary Museum of Art and I thought this could be a great inspiration for the designers to use neon in their work.

Bottega Veneta for spring 2011

Gucci group should be proud of Tomas Maier, he follows the rules to achieve contemporary elegance and his successes session after session shows his confidence in what he does, I'd be a real follower of his style. He is not afraid to make a look just by one color because he believes in the power of the color that he chooses.
PS: I'm not the only person who thinks this new unknown model in hot, even GQ editor confirmed that.

Moncler Gomme Bleu

Love the Thome brown ideas toward new silhouette for men, he is the only one in the contemporary fashion world who has the balls to push it forward.
can not wait until the NY fashion week to see his own namesake collection.

D&G Milan fashion week

Alber Constructed the Fall wardorbe

Ok, its officially fall in the fashion word, the Luisaroma online shop has published some of the clothes for fall, and between those expensive pieces that most of those are not even worth looking is a Lanvin jacket which is great. Alber did it again he constructed a shape which carries a paradox in it, the softness of the fabric combined with the architecture techniques, the feminine side of the jacket gets lost into the choose of color.
For those of you who would want to buy it, it’s worth 1998$ .

Johanna Blakley: Lessons from fashion's free culture | Video on

Johanna Blakley: Lessons from fashion's free culture | Video on

This is a great video about the concept of copy right in fashion industry. The lady explains why the lack of copy rights laws in this field has made a great opportunity for fashion business to grow and be on the top of the creative careers both economically and creatively. As I watched it I couldn’t ignore that fashion business could be a great example for Austrian school of economy in which they have developed new ideas toward a free society. If you like business, economy or fashion and even if you love art make sure to watch it. I love the Tom Ford part too (yeah, he is here too  ).

Sweet Alber

Dear Readers,

Here is Alber, he's my sweet .... I do not know my sweet what, I just know that he is the sweetest. as uncle Karl told on his Blog :

"Lanvin dresses are generally good. Alber, you know, the designer of Lanvin- he has a heart of gold. Real gold. Melting gold. Pure, melting gold. It must get very hot in there sometimes. They can be quite haughty, so treat them with respect."

Yours Sincerely,

This Fall Closet for if I was not a boy

First of all I gotta insure you that I'm so happy that I'm not a girl because I hate
when girls have their p.eriod.

But this Balenciaga closet would be fantastic...
This are for when I'm at work, or I'm going to study...

This two are great coats for winter, don't you think like that? yes, of course most of you may not because you are not me

This also would come handy, you know when my legs got so cold

This are my night dresses and I'd wear this more than 50 times:

This is Mitra Farahmand and I saw her picture in Purple dairy, I wish that she had a site or something. I just know that she is a photographer.

This photo is taken by Olivier Zahm.

Oscar, An Education

I have not seen this years Oscar show, but as you can imagine I've seen the dresses that the actresses and Robert Downey Jr wore as no other man than Sherlock, knows how to attend a red carpet.
This years choice was easy this girl who I did not know her name was the winner,
the Black Prada dress with kitchen utilities on it is clever. it's the most feminine and conceptual shit that everyone has ever-worn within this two years on a read carpet, as you readers can imagine that two years in fashion is a heck of a long time.

Finally last night I saw the movie which I had no idea the girl that I adored was playing the lead role, yes I know that by that time you are all judging me... but accept it that no one who loves fashion can watch the movies that are stolen and have low qualities, If I was I'd be in love with United Colors of Benetton. so I waited for the better stolen version. And mean while I would not read any reviews or magazines because they ruin it all. "yes ladies you can not judge a book by it's cover but you can not read it if the cover smells or it greasy".

Finally, The movie was great not better than "stranger than fiction" which I saw for the fourth time last night, but the costume design of the "An Education" was breath taking, the mens style was too classic and there was a blue scarf which is now in my "I wish I had" list, And the references of the clothe was too this season, (Please accept my apology, cause I know that we do not love this seasons or any other seasons cloth, we just love the clothe, and remember that the cloth are not something to cover our junk)

I've talke too much And I'm tired,

The new Inspiration

This Thom Browne guy seems to have it all, he's a Reference and yet he is new,
Do you know that he goes jugging every morning in the Central Park, I've seen him on the and he is good.
This picture is the one that Inspires me. good for him...

Facebook, go to hell.... Love Balenciaga

I've really tried for the second time to post my pictures in Facebook and it failed to make it up.
You know what, when I go to Facebook I'm naked, and not in a good Italian way, it's dramatically naked like those old villages that the widows know everything about the neighborhood. It's just freaky and so not modern.

Speaking of modern, If I was a girl Balenciaga would be my first choice of cloth.
So here are my favorite look at Balenciaga, I would wear this expensive creatures to everywhere.

This is why I was in desperate need to marry a king...

I would walk into the garden of our palace wearing this...

This one for when it rains

Thursday, March 4, 2010

he sumptuously alienized a classic woman.
It is fashion beyond a certain scale. There is not any futile attempt to make an concept which no one would get although the result is a fashion in which has a character and uniqueness along with it's vulnerability.

Houte Couture's Fashion Week

What I've truly loved about this spring’s Couture Fashion week, are shown at this photo. First is this Chanel dress which is a reflection of Karl's style at women's couture and I think it is a good investment for couture collectors.
And the second photo which was taken by a fashion editor who was unable to see the Dior’s couture show because of Tavi’s giant hat. There is an Asian guy setting at the opposite side of the aisle and I adore his style, the way he looks at the cloth and specially his calmness inspires me.

Victor&Rolf next to Kris Von Assche!

I told you that I've had fun using style studio of the H&M brand.
This is playing with the designers looks :)! lol
Kries Von Assche and Victor and Rolf were my first thoughts!

And also I've found a great Journalist "Colin McDowell", I found these two sentences interesting to remember later!

As Balenciaga said of his customers, a woman who can wear any and all designers knows nothing about fashion, or herself, at all. It is the same for designers. If they produce any or all styles they have no personal style at all. The sad thing is that I am sure it doesn't have to be like this.

Where I live in London there are plenty of cool young guys who look great … but very few of the ideas in their dress originated on the catwalks of this city.

H&M style studio!

Last nigh I used the H&M style studio, and it was so much fun. H&M is an amazing brand, it has everything that a person needs to wear. The great thing about H&M is that it has a great connection with its costumer. The web site is well designed and the software which they have developed for making our own style is joyful and pragmatic. This is the future of fashion and that's why I love H&M:
1- They show their collections by the time they have the clothes at the stores, or in some cases two or one week earlier.
2- They do great collaboration with great designers.
3- They digest what is going on at the current runway shows and then they produce wearable cloth using the main voice of the season.
4- Their cloth have great quality alongside with great design.
5- They have style studio which is the greatest software and is like a game for me.

Believe it or not, I've spent 6 hours using different kinds of stuffs to finally make these pictures. And I know some of these pictures look great at magazines like Vogue or Harper next to the expensive designer labels.

Fur for Pre-Fall!

Fur after recession!
Ok! If you have enough money and you've recovered from financial crises, a good fur would make you look so chic, just walk far enough from vegetarians.

a Raf Simons Moment

I’m not quite sure what was in the mind of Proenza Schouler designers when they designed this look for the Next Pre-fall. What I know is that I’ve adored it as soon as I’ve seen it. For me this look is the American version of Raf Simons’s this fall collections. This just shows how timeless a Raf Simons’s piece could be.

Yellow or Red

Who are we to say no to Karl's or Nicola's style?!
Just pick the best black item that you already have in your closet and match it with something chic and fashionable, which must be red or yellow. Suddenly you’ll be the lady of fall.

The power of Balenciaga!
I just thought that it would be trendy to show similar inspiration from different shows.

High Waist

In the summer that everyone designed short dresses this could be a good way to break the rules.
